The Solara Acoustic Trio recently performed an intimate evening of acoustic music in Berkeley, California at Timbre Folk & Baroque.
The program featured a blend of Latin American repertoire, flamenco, and original compositions, shaped through real-time interaction and improvisation. The music flowed naturally between rhythmic drive and lyrical, atmospheric moments, allowing each style to inform the next.
The ensemble included the versatile Jackeline Rago, whose rhythmic and melodic range added depth and color to the performance, and guitarist Carlos Caminos, whose expressive playing helped bridge traditional and contemporary acoustic textures. Jesse Torre contributed flamenco-influenced guitar work and original material, adding harmonic movement and interplay within the ensemble.
The evening reflected what makes acoustic performance so compelling in intimate venues like Timbre: clarity, responsiveness, and a shared musical language that evolves in real time. We hope to see you at our next show!
